Alpine Club gear policy
Provisional Policy
Date: 5/2/07Until we further refine our policy, the following "no fault" policy is in effect: any user of the Alpine Club's equipment is not liable for the equipment should the equipment break or be lost under normal circumstances. However, if the club's leaders determine there was improper usage, or gross and intentional negligence, the borrower of the equipment may be asked to pay between 25% and 75% of the current retail value (the exact amount at the club leader's discretion).
