Rick
Ridgeway
multi-media
presentation and book signing of his new book, "The Big
Open."
Ridgeway
will show slides from his latest adventure to
largely uninhabited "northern plain." As chronicled in his book, Ridgeway's
adventure was a month-long, 250-mile, self-supported trek
through this
region,
as he and a team of
calving
grounds of the endangered Tibetan antelope. Their goal was to use the
discovery
to persuade Chinese authorities to protect the region before
poachers get
there
first.
