High Resolution Thermometry
Sub-nanokelvin temperature resolution can be obtained by measauring the magnetic susceptibility of a paramagnetic salt using a dc-SQUID. The schematic and some resolution data for this High-Resolution Thermometry (HRT) system are shown below.
