Research interests: network coding, networking and distributed systems, wireless communications, information theory, and machine learning.

I am an assistant professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the California Institute of Technology. I did my doctoral work at the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and did short postdocs at the Coordinated Science Laboratory, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Wireless Research Laboratory at Bell Laboratories.
