Though Caltech plays in the Southern California Collegiate Division our membership is not strictly eligible for that classification. All our games are treated as friendlies and do not count towards the division championships. Those who must play competitively sometimes play with the San Fernando Valley RFC, Eagle Rock RFC, or Pasadena RFC; local men's clubs in the Southern California Rugby Football Union.
The season typically runs from late fall to spring, during which we play five to eight games, and practice twice a week. From April through September we cut back to one practice a week plus touch rugby most Friday afternoons. New players are always welcome, and are invited to contact the club for more details.
