CIPLA is an organization that seeks to generate interest in the field of intellectual property law amongst the Caltech community and take advantage of the pool of talented scientists and engineers on the Caltech campus.

We provide guidance and assistance for Caltech students that aspire to be patent agents or attorneys. Services we provide include: guidance from other Caltech students and community members who have already passed the bar, free access to study materials, and direct financial assistance for taking the test.

We also provide a forum for the discussion of intellectual property law in general, which we support with a lecture series comprising outstanding guest lecturers from the LA area and beyond.
