May 29: Museum and Shops open for the season Program: Writing contest awards and reading of student essays on Builders of the Past, followed by ice cream social May 30: Museum and Shops open June 5: Mary Curtis of the National Park Service and the Upper Delaware Heritage Alliance will present a program on the new Equinunk Historic District June 12: Historic House Tour, Sandercock House, Equinunk; meet at Calder House at 1:30 June 19: Museum and Shops open June 26: Program and walk on natural remedies and herbs presented by Jamie Stunkard, Nature's Grace store in Honesdale July 3: Open House at Hill Waterpower Sawmill, 11-4. Mill in operation. Also Bluestone Festival, Hancock, NY July 4: Museum and Shops open July 10: Historic House Tour, Farley House, Equinunk; meet at Calder House at 1:30 July 11: Museum and Shops open July 17: Historic House Tour, Bluestone Inn Bed and Breakfast, formerly the Dr. Frisbie home; meet at Calder House at 1:30 July 18: Museum and Shops open July 24: Cracker Barrel Session panel discussion with several local builders July 25: Book signing by the author. Dr. John Harris, Civil War student and certified guide at Gettysburg battlefield, will autograph copies of his new book, Dear Sister, the Civil War letters of the Brothers Gould. August 6-14: Wayne County Fair. Equinunk Historical Society will have a booth under the grandstand. Please visit. August 7: Museum and Shops open August 8: Museum and Shops open August 14: Equinunk Historical Society Annual Members Meeting: 11 AM Brunch, 12:15 Meeting and Election of Directors. Quilt show at the Museum August 15: Quilt show continues. Museum and Shops open August 21: Open House at Joel Hill waterpower sawmill, off Rt. 191 on Duck Harbor Road; 11-4. Mill in operation. August 22: Museum and Shops open August 28: Museum and Shops open. Steve Jacobi and "Fiddlin' Around" at the Fire Hall, 8 PM, to benefit the Hill Sawmill. Admission charge for the benefit. August 29: Museum and Shops open Sept. 4: Museum and Shops open Sept. 11: Museum and Shops open Sept. 18: Museum and Shops open Sept. 25: Museum and Shops open Oct. 2: Museum and Shops open Oct. 9 & 10: Museum and Shops open Nov. 26: Last day of the season for museum and research facilities.
