Flow Cytometry Facility Operating Hours The BD FACSAria and the Becton-Dickinson FACSVantage are available for services by appointment only from 11 am to 5 pm, weekdays, unless special arrangements are made. These machines are operated by facility staff. Advance appointments are required. In addition, consultation with Rochelle Diamond, facility manager, is required regarding the experimental design and sorting/analysis protocols and parameters for machine setup. The self-serve analyzer is available 24 hours a day for use without staff assistance. However, you must receive training on these machines or demonstrate knowledge of equipment. Operator assistance on this machine is available during facility hours. Analyzers vary from facility to facility, especially in software housekeeping. |
